Challenges
A core obstacle to online child exploitation investigations is identifying a victim and/or offender’s location. With this information, local investigators can be alerted. How can Child Rescue Coalition leverage technology to analyze chats with online criminal abusers to predict or identify a user’s location? Consider artificial intelligence, linguistics tools, etc.
Challenges #1
Identifying User Location
Law enforcement may be investigating messages between offenders and/or victims that are in foreign languages. This can present an obstacle to the investigator who may have to translate each individual message. How can Child Rescue Coalition leverage technology to auto-translate individual messages on-demand?
